Creating an opportunity to connect with Adelaide’s past and celebrate its present.

Adelaide Picture Collection

The Adelaide Picture Collection consists of over 5000 photographs held by the City of Adelaide Archives and offers a unique insight into Adelaide’s City streets and buildings, parks, infrastructure and people, and various civic events and services from the 1850s to the 1970s.

Many of the photographs have been digitised in joint partnership with the City of Adelaide Archives and funded by the Keith Sheridan Bequest.
