Remembering My Streets

This month’s theme:

Adelaide’s Changing Telecommunication

Did you know that Adelaide was the first city in Australia to be connected by Overland Telegraph Line with London back in the 1872.  It played a signicant role in shaping the modern telecommunication landscape.  How have you accessed and adapted to these ever changing technologies from analogue cabled to digital wireless today?

The History Hub Team invites the community and you to share memories and stories relating to this month’s theme. Memories can be a few sentences or short stories. The memories will be collected and published on the history hub website for all to enjoy.
