Description
This is a photocopy of a line drawing of the winery and distillery that were on Morphett Road, Glengowrie. Accompanying text provides some history of the Hamilton winemaking family and business. The title of the text is “Hamilton’s winery and distillery, Warradale”. Although the area was referred to as Warradale when the Ewell vineyard was at its peak, the location became part of the suburb of Glengowrie in the later decades of the 20th century. The drawing has been signed by Peg Berry, so this photocopy was probably taken from the “Brighton and Seacliff Sketchbook” by Vernon Mostyn Branson. Branson, V. M.
