Anthony and Geoffrey Benny, sons of Geoff and Neen Benny, S. Aust. Date unknown. Grandsons of Benjamin Benny and Susan Grace, nee Anderson.
Geoff Kenelm Benny (born 8 November 1910), of 'Katronelm', Nth Adelaide, Real Estate Agent, married Neen Schareberg, Hair Stylist, of Adelaide. This photograph of their two young sons in a garden was probably taken in the late 1940s.

Benjamin Benny, son of Morphett Vale Free Presbyterian Minister Rev George Benny and Susannah, nee Anderson, married his relative Susan Grace Anderson (known as Grace), daughter of Peter Anderson and granddaughter of Peter Anderson of 'Archerfield', Morphett Vale, in 1896. The Bennys established a home, 'Stoneywood', in suburban Seacliff, and raised three daughters and two sons. Benjamin Benny was Mayor of Brighton City Council 1903-05 and a Federal senator 1919-26. On 22 December 1919 Grace became the first female member of a local government in Australia, and stood unsuccessfully for mayor in 1922.
Their five children were: Kathleen b. 14 October 1898; Ronald b. 27 May 1900; Eleanor b. 11 December 1902; Mary b. 5 June 1906; Geoffrey b. 8 November 1910 (not in photo)
