Transcription of article in the West Torrens District Council report for February 1939, noting a request to council by the Glenelg Golf Club to rent at a nominal rate the road running through the golf course from Morphett Road to Tapley’s Hill Road. This would allow the club to have greater control of the use of the road by horse trainers. The report recommends that the request be allowed and the road rented to the club at the rate of £1 per year. Shephard, Vernon S. [author]
